The SlimCORE™ 72F cable bridges enterprise and telecom-scale backbone applications, including inter-floor aggregation, communications cabinet patching, and small telecom-room distribution. The six 12-fibre subunit construction provides moderate fanout density without driving up cable bulk, suiting installations in fibre duct or cable tray.
With an 8.2 mm outer diameter and 65 kg/km nominal weight, the cable accommodates inter-cabinet routing in enterprise data rooms and building-to-building campus links. Configurations are available in single-mode (G.657.A1) and multimode (OM3, OM4, OM5).
